The CEC will now provide professionally installed eligible system owners a $3.80/watt (PTC) rebate to offset the cost of installation. ASAP POWER! will continue to support eligible equipment and systems, accepting the rebate in lieu of any cash payment of that amount, offering what is effectively a "bridge financing" at 0% interest. This amount per watt is scheduled to go down by .20/watt every six months. The rebate will go down to $3.60 per watt on January 1st, 2004. There is simply not a better time than now! Filing of the rebate request form is an important step. After you approve your eligible invoice, needed to submit with the request form, we will prepare the form with the system details or instruct you how to do the same.
We will fill in the remaining information needed and send it in for you with your approved system invoice, the Five Year Extended Warranty (limited or full) from ASAP POWER!, also required, and your utility bill copy OR advise you how to complete the rebate request form and inclusions. Reserved rebates with a claim form on file do remain available to you for up to 9 months before the reservation is cancelled and funds are made available again to others. Rebate funding is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis as long as funding is available. Remember, ASAP POWER! may carry the rebated portion until paid by the State of California so that the entire rebate amount is interest free for up to 3 months and the rebate money is never out of your pocket.
